Depending on the regulations within your municipality you may need to sell products in your refillery by either weight ounces of fluid ounces. 

To convert any fluid measurement into a weight measurement, you can do a simple calculation. All you'll need is a graduated cylinder, a scale, and the product you're trying to sell. Simply fill the graduated cylinder (or beaker or other accurate volumetric filling vessel) to the point where the meniscus of the fluid you are measuring is lined up with a specific number. This could be the 10oz fill point. That is 10oz by volume, the weight that the scale displays is 10oz by weight!

Then you simply divide this number. So if 10oz of hand soap weighs 10.1oz, then your multiplier will be 1.01! Use this multiplier to quickly calculate the weight of any volume of this same hand soap...640oz (5 gallons) would therefore weigh 646.4oz.

To easily do this on a large scale, program your multipliers into counting scales for each product. This way once you've done the math once, the scale will do the math on the spot for any volume your customer wants to purchase!
