Our wool comes directly from a family-owned regenerative sheep farm in the USA, where sheep spend their lives grazing open pastures under the care of the farming family. Their regenerative practices include rotational grazing, natural fertilization, and water-source management designed to improve soil and land health while helping capture and store carbon in the soil. The farm's wool has been verified as Climate Beneficial through a Carbon Farm Plan with nonprofit Fibershed. The wool is seasonally sheared, washed, and then handmade into dryer balls without bleach or nylon processing.
