Is your Bamboo organic? | While this product is not USDA "certified" organic, bamboo is naturally "organic" because of its innate defenses against pests and diseases; an antimicrobial substance called "kun" helps protect it from harmful organisms.

The Farms | We are sustainably sourced; our bamboo comes from ethical farms that do NOT utilize slave labor. The ground itself is not mono-cropped and is not replacing forest space. It is a carbon-negative production that does not disrupt wildlife (pandas) or nature (old-growth/protected forest). The farms let their bamboo grow naturally.

Sustainable | Because bamboo is amazing, it grows faster than a tree and has a far lower carbon footprint. Bamboo absorbs more c02 and creates more oxygen over its lifespan than trees! Bamboo also biodegrades back into the environment much faster than other paper-type products.

Why use the wrapping?

Our Bamboo Paper products are all individually wrapped using a paper made from 80% wood pulp and 20% recycled pulp. The ink is an eco-friendly, water-based ink.

We used to sell the paper products unwrapped, but received too many complaints and concerns about it being unsanitary. The wrapping also helps to protect the rolls from damage during shipping and handling.

Where are your Bamboo Products sourced?

ALL bamboo products come from China or Vietnam because they are the largest producers of bamboo. The type of bamboo used does not contribute to deforestation and does not threaten pandas’ food source.

The USA does not currently grow the amount needed to produce pulp for paper products. There are only 3 species grown in the USA and there are over 1400 species in the world and China has the best-growing conditions for bamboo.

The USA has destroyed most of its natural resources for bamboo by expanding cities, making towns, growing food crops, and building roads. If and when the USA produces enough bamboo to make the pulp, we will source from here.

We currently source our alpaca and wool dryer balls from small business owners in the USA vs China like other companies. We source 99% of our materials from the USA and we manufacture everything in the USA.

Is there an adhesive?

There is a minimal amount of glue used to adhere the paper to the roll. It is a food-grade, plant adhesive made from Corn Starch. Should it contact skin, it is safe for even the most sensitive areas.
